US AIR FORCE "BLOCK PARTY"

June 26th, starting at 6pm

The United States Air Force will be demonstrating their Raptor truck and F/A-22 Mini-Jet at
Scoops Ice Cream Shop and Harmon's Drug Store in Oblong.

RAPTOR Truck
The RAPTOR, before modifications, was a 2003 GMC Yukon XL. Now, the SUV has a blue, white and gray paint scheme featuring the "Cross Into The Blue" logo and Air Force symbol, plus these custom features: Backlit billet grill on the front below the Air Force symbol. 20" custom wheels with self-balancing center caps featuring the Air Force symbol. Leather interior with the Air Force symbol embroidered on the headrests. 42" FLATRON plasma TV. CD, DVD, AM/FM and public address capabilities. Full-range sound system with four 10-inch subwoofers, two 6.5-inch mid-range speakers, four 2-inch high-end tweeters, two amplifiers and a DVD player.

Mini-Jet

Raptor Trailer
The Raptor trailer carries a miniature replica of the Air Force's newest fighter aircraft — the F/A-22 Raptor. The trailer also has two video game stations that allow visitors to play the Air Force's exciting new interactive video game. Stop by and check it out and have some fun.
