A little information about our club

The first annual Oblong Antique Tractor and Engine Show was held Aug. 8, 9, 1986 at the Crawford County Fairgrounds.

We had about 150 tractors and around 150 engines in the first show. We had a fun tractor pull that year instead of the different classes that we have now.

The first show in 1986 began a lot of traditions still continuing today.

Continuing to this day at the show are the many exhibits of antique tractors and engines with several running for display and performing chores for every one to watch.

Other events still carried out today include the Farm Toy Exhibition Show on Saturday and Sunday, the annual Parade of Power on Saturday and Sunday, an Antique Tractor Pull on Friday night, a Flea Market and Old Iron Dealers held on all 3 days of the show, Church Services Sunday morning, and a Kiddy Tractor Pull on Saturday.

We have exhibitors and vendors coming from as far away as Florida and Texas to participate in our engine show.

We now have a 3 power house's that have lots of operating engines in them. They include Hercules, International and Superior to mention a few. You can view pictures of them at the links above.

Be sure to come and support our club and community at the annual show.

Held at the Crawford County Fairgrounds, in Oblong, Illinois.
